My fellow Utahns,
I am seeking to be your representative for Utah’s 2nd Congressional District with two simple goals in mind. First, to bring accessibility and accountability right back to where it belongs, in your hands. Second, to be YOUR representative and not one who is indebted to nor encumbered by large campaign donations from business, special interests or individuals. It is my belief that even in this age of large corporate donations, political actions committees and legislation driven by and benefiting those interests… that the will of the people can still be put foremost and we will all be the better for it.
A longtime political animal I am not; just a guy who ran a small business here in Utah for 25 years, employing common folks like me and you. This country has provided me with the opportunity to live my life in freedom and for that I am deeply grateful. It is time for me to try and help -- to bring some common sense and business sense back into our goverment. To achieve that goal, I will need your help. If you are unhappy with your representation than you need to do more than just complain about it amongst your friends. Think about the people that founded this great country, did they take action or not? Are you prepared to take action or not?

It is high time that our elected representatives stand up for middle class Americans and shun those special interests who would seduce them to do otherwise.
